Update! Update!

So I finally thought I should update our blog after about 2 1/2 years. A lot has happened in the
last 2 years. So here it is summarized.

1. Our son Conner David Delphenich was born November 2, 2008. (9 lbs 5 oz.)

2. My brother came home from his mission to meet his very first nephew.
3. December 2008 my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer, she has now been cancer free for about 1 1/2 years.
4. Conner's baby blessing.
5. Went on a cruise with my family to the Caribbean.

6. Went to Tahoe with David's family, the cousins had a blast playing together.

7. Conner's first birthday November 2, 2009.

8. December 2009 Christmas with the Delphenich's in Utah
9. March 2010 expecting baby #2
10. July 2010 found out we are having a girl!!

11. After several years of trying to work through their differences my parents have decided to get a divorce.
12. Thanksgiving 2010 David's family came to visit since I was very pregnant and could not travel.
13. It is a good thing David's family came to us for thanksgiving because just as we sat down for dinner I went into labor even though my c-section was scheduled for 2 days later.
14. Welcomed Charlotte Rae Delphenich on November 25, 2010 (7 lbs 12 oz.)

15. It is a good thing that I went into labor early, definitely a blessing from Heavenly Father. I had contracted a disease known as TTP it is a very rare blood disease ( 1 to 3 out of a million get it) and can be onset by pregnancy before the doctors could diagnose it ( I was at John Muir, a big hospital, and I was the first case they had ever had) my kidneys and liver had started shutting down. I had also started talking with completely random words and not knowing real from fake all those vampire novels came back to haunt me, literally. TTP caused my body not to be able to filter out blood clots which is why my kidney and liver started to fail because they started to fill up with blood clots and my brain was full of blood clots. They put me on plasma pheresus, kind of like dialysis, they had to take out all of my plasma and replace it with new donated plasma. I was in the hospital for 10 days while my husband did the single dad job with a toddler and a newborn, thank goodness for my parents and all their help

16. I am grateful for the hand of God in all the circumstances that put me at that hospital with those doctors and nurses that saved my life, this disease used to have and 80% mortality rate before before the plasma machine was invented.
17. Charlotte's Baby blessing.
18. I love being a mother to 2 beautiful children.

This has been a crazy, wonderful 2 1/2 years. I love my family and am so grateful for where we are and all that we have been through because we truly appreciate each other and the lives we have together. I hope you are having a good year and stay tuned for more updates, they will be coming more often.

Welcome Back Delphenichs! You are blessed with two beautiful children (so glad you had a girl too) I am also glad that you were at the right hospital and that they could save your life. Wow what an ordeal.

We hope you continue to be blessed. And don't fret over blogging. I have slacked off and blogging comes in random times. Sometimes months and months go by. :)

Oh and I love the name Charlotte....beautiful!

Glad to see you back! I love being able to see pictures of the little ones since I live so far away now. It was great seeing you at Lora and Chris's reception. I just wish I could have seen all of you longer. Both of your kids are beautiful and I too love the name Charlotte. Glad they have a mommy and glad all of the fasting and prayers worked!

Love the pictures. So glad that everything turned out ok with everything. Your kids are just so cute. Wish we could have visited longer at Lora's reception. It is so hard now that we live so far away and to try to cram in talking to everyone that I have missed. Hopefully we can reunite once again before too long. Love you and your family!
